I’ve just released AYMANTIA 2, and reflecting on the process, it’s clear that my music has become much more than just a collection of songs — it’s a recurring ritual.
Every year, I take the messy collection of memories, feelings, and snapshots of my life and codify them into a musical timestamp. It’s a milestone, a way to bottle up a year before moving to the next.
The process is built on a few core philosophies:
Zero Rules: Following the path I started with Vecraft, I’ve ditched the rulebook. I focus on unleashing creativity and going with the flow. If the energy moves toward indie rock one year and math rock the next, that’s exactly where the record goes.
No Stage, Just Studio: These aren’t tracks built for a live crowd. They are experiments in atmosphere, born from improvisation and captured in the moment within my DAW.
The “Deep Listen”: I don’t want my work to be background noise. I want you to “devour” it, to listen until it breaks, deconstructing every guitar layer and texture just like I did while building it.
If you’re looking for something that isn’t over-polished or formulaic, I invite you to give AYMANTIA 2 a spin.
It’s a weird, wonderful, and deeply personal slice of my life. Just do me a favor: don’t just hear it — actually listen.
