this release is kinda funny to me now
i started it as an indie rock-ish project, already had 4 tracks done, chill vibe, woods, being alone, just figuring stuff out
SIDE 1 — “Pour Water” is that phase:
* Embrace The Waters
* Albuterol Nights
* Live in The Woods
* Become a Neo-Hermit
then i discovered breakcore 💀
and instead of blending it, i just switched completely and forgot about everything i was doing before
SIDE 2 — “Water Power” is that:
* Broken Brakes
* Protoshock
* Brain Fountains
* Sine Brix
i was basing everything on what i thought breakcore should be (like that Venetian Snares definition), and now when i listen back i cringe a bit, especially the “water in breaks” thing 😭
but it still kinda counts lol
the title makes sense tho:
cooled off = indie
reheated = breakcore
two vibes, one release, no transition
i just kept it like that
